This is the slim wide black and silver unit with 2x HDMI + 1x DP on the back. WL-UMD05 EDIT: I got 3440x1440@120Hz through the DisplayPort connection! Manual says only 60Hz, but monitor confirms 120Hz! I'm using this with Linux and my Asus G533ZW ROG laptop, and it works great. I like the style and port selection. I plan to use 2 big Asus HDMI 1920x1080 monitors. (Linux displaylink drivers) No compromises in bandwidth here! IO speed is the same as native. NICE. Linux detects everything I've tried. The SD cards slot surprised me! In the past, I've never had a SD card reader that got above 40MB/s... But both slots here get ~85MB/s read, depending on the card inserted. I just bought some 120MB/s SanDisk cards, but 85MB/s is the max I've seen. Headphone jack audio options appear when something is plugged in. Volume is loud enough HDMI audio also works if monitor exists. Have not tried Display Port or front USB-C for power delivery or audio mic.
100W power delivery was necessary for me, since the Primary Thunderbolt power port on the laptop is damaged & only supports USB. The secondary USB-C port is Thunderbolt & also supports power delivery.
The dock is very stable and of good quality. Perfect for the home office.
Small, light, lots of connections, it works.
Got this product at a great price. Everything the hub offers I have tested and works well.
Good build quality ports are well spaced and easy to access Throughput for data and power are seamless Comes with a AC to DC converter 100W
This is by far the best dock I have used. It is a single connector that provides dual DP/hdmi ports. All the other docks out there seem to heartbeat only one or one with an HDMI that you have to end up buying another dongle/adapter to make it work. I don't know of anyone who has one of each monitor, so having one of each seems a bit odd. I am using Windows 10 and it is plug and play. Zero configuration and installation steps. Perfect there! The display feels brighter and more clear. I have 2 DP displays running at 1900 x 1200 and the laptop running as well. The text was clear and no lag time with the displays. The ethernet port runs as expected with no dips during the file transfers. Great home and work docking station.
