Small form factor. Easy to install. Set up is not as complicated as some make it out to be. Card does ALL raid calculations onboard. Windows just sees a disk . Has options for just about any array possible. Maxview Storage Manager is easily navigated . Reads all smart attributes . RAID migration is easily done. Can set power saving setting for drives , arrays , and the card itself . It will email any reports to you.

This is a VERY fast card. I have it paired up with 8 10K 73gb SAS drives in RAID 10. It is installed in a nForce 590 SLI motherboard in the x8 slot. Benchmarks at <2ms access times, close to 400MB/sec sustained transfer. Thats megaBYTES, not megaBITS. mBits / 8 = mBytes. :D
