I have many (~20) of these WD Elements (8TB, 14TB, 16TB, 18TB and now 20TB) for the last 10 years. So far so good. They are fast and quiet.
Large storage capacity in a small footprint
A good size and it is FAST.
Great value.
Quiet, reliable, quick transfers, simple setup.
All the videos ,pictures, important files can now be organized and saved away from your system (in a safe) no hacker can ever get to them. This thing is great for storing movies it can be connected directly to your smart TV
This is my second one. My other is only 6TB but I use these for a media server to stream movies in our home. Same will be used on this 10TB version.
Fast, quick recognition, takes all writes without complaint
lots of space
I bought this hard drive because it is a Western Digital and over the years I have very luck with WD drives.
Easy setup, very very very quiet, transfer data pretty quick too 7200 rpm drive @ 8TB external
Easy to set up and use, quick read and write
Outstanding product for the price (169 USD) Works as expected, just like every other HDD on the market. Huge and slow (compared to SSD's), just as expected.
Compact, usb C x usb C,
Worked out of the box, and was able to do an Acronis backup on four different Wondows 10 computers. Just connect it and the computer sees an additional hard disk. Have been using WD MY Book external hard disks for years without problems.
This device has exceeded all of my expectations for product quality and at a value price.
— Worked as advertised! — not that loud when in operation — not too bulky (I have limited desk space)
-Smaller and more compact than expected -Minimalist design -Huge Amount of storage space -Easy setup with backup recovery software
