This has done well with the speeds and performance. I am currently using this to run a Minecraft server and so far, so good.

Very Fast Controller, easy to use. Supports Auto Carving for Operating Systems that don't support over 2TB Luns. Vmware Drivers work well, however you cannot boot off this controller with ESXi, but can be easily installed after the fact.

I added this interface to a Proxmox VM system to add SSD drives to a virtual NAS machine. Proxmox easily identified the controller and I was able to pass thru the SSD's to the NAS.

- Works seamlessly on reasonably recent Linux kernels - Cheaper (at retail) than previous gen 9300-16e - Uses less power than previous gen 16-channel cards. Previous generations used two chips, one per 8 channels; this latest gen card has a single chip. - Half-height (half-height bracket included in the box), unlike many previous non-OEM 16-channel cards, allowing better airflow in a desktop or workstation chassis where full-height cards interfere more with airflow.
