Supported in FreeNAS 9.1.1. I shopped around and read reviews for weeks trying to find a card to just add SATA3 ports to my NAS. I didn't need RAID functionality. There were only 8 on-board SATA3 ports on my motherboard and I needed 4 additional. The card supports 3 TB drives (currently have 3 x 3 TB WD Red drives connected). Transfer speed is good, I can hit 90 Mb/sec which I am satisfied with. Might be faster if there are less drives which is why i'm going to pick up a second card once they go on sale again and spread out with only 2 drives on each (need to pick up one more drive to fill my 12 bay Rosewell server case).
