- Works as promised, after confusing setup/activation - Small box
Fast and dependable.
I am an Xfinity/Comcast customer. Set up was super easy. Over in minutes. Connection is DOCSIS 3.1 protocol over 32 channels. Upgraded from an Arris Surfboard SB6183 with 16 channels. Response is noticeably faster. I've been using Motorola Surfboard modems for decades.
Easy to setup as always The sharp bright icons look pretty cool.
Loving the speed of this new modem. The connection is solid and stable!
My current ISP upgraded my d/l speed from 200 mb to 400 mb for free. I needed DOCSIS 3.1 to take advantage of the upgrade. Speed checks come in at 390 to 420. Easy to set up by following the instructions included.
I like this product because I really have the boost when I get one. My router set at 1.2GBps is becoming overwhelmed by the router speeds available at 1.4GBps. So, I'm ready when I need it Thank You!
easy setup called my cable provider and within 5 minutes up and running Spectrum Internet Ultra 400/20
I bought this modem for two reasons. First, Time Warner hiked the modem monthly lease fee from $3 to $10 a month in my area. Second, they are upgrading my service from 50.0 to 300.0 on May 19th. My current modem doesn't support 300.0 and I had to either get a new through the cable company or purchase my own. I've owned this modem for two days and I can already tell a difference in overall speed and stability. It will pay for itself in 8 months and now I have no TW equipment in my house.
Perfect modem for the new TWC Maxx internet. I have their ultimate internet and get 320 down and 22 up on average here in Charlotte. This will pay for itself in one 18 months as TWC charges 7 freaking dollars a month to use their modem. It was a really easy install and time warner had it added and working within 5 minutes, so kudos to them on that part at least. Haven't had a single issue since plugging this modem in. This paired with my Netgear 6300v2 as been a fantastic combo. I highly recommend this modem. It is also the cheapest of the TWC approved 16/4 modems (which you need to get more that 100 mb/s)
Very fast setup. Easy to understand menus. Doesn't drop signal, connections, or glitch the software UI out forcing a reboot. Offers up to Wi-Fi AC (Wi-Fi 5)
Worked fine on Win XP desktop after installing drivers from disk. Win7 and Win8 machines found the proper drivers automatically without using the disks (but they may have pulled them off the internet??)
