You can mount 2 Transformers on the sides. You can mount the surge protector to a board or something.

When I purchase from newegg I know I'm getting equipment with confidence. Battery packaged well and was manufactured recently.

Very Heavy Duty and Low Profile. I mounted it in the back center of my rack behind an UPS. Works great and the rear outlets are spaced for power bricks. Also liked that it has a plastic safety cover over the main power switch to prevent accidental shut-off. The 15' power cable is very thick and sturdy.

Nice UPS. Unlike the many datacenter-style rackmount APC UPS units I've used, this one has an informative LCD display, including information about estimated runtime on battery, volts/frequency in/out, % load and number of outage events. And unlike the LCD readouts on many gaming gadgets, this LCD display is bright enough to be readable but not so bright as to be obnoxious. I was quite surprised at how lightweight this thing was-- my wife carried it in by herself-- a far cry from the UPSes we have at work which are usually moved around by two burly men and a hand cart. I couldn't find any information about using Ubuntu with this particular APC model, but I'd had good luck with APC's stuff and Linux/OpenBSD/FreeBSD in the past (albeit with the serial cable models), so I decided to take a chance. I was expecting to at least have to install something via apt, but no-- UPS event notification worked right out of the box! An icon just appeared in my notification tray (Ubuntu 11.04).

Sturdy build, perfect for my server setup.

Easy to setup Must reboot after install to have service start Works great with Windows 2008R2 (SBS 2011) USB

Purchased 2 of these on sale and they work perfectly. with the spreading of sockets on one side it is easy to plug in power adapters with built-in transformers at the plugged. Great buy at $29.99 when I purchased in March 2013 and remains the same today.

Great product. Seamless switch to battery. Quality of APC for homeowners needing low watt demand. DO IT its worth it!!!! *** I have more UPCs in a commercial environment than I know what to do with.......this is in my personal residence, I know what a good UPC is.
