This unit is excellent. I have owned mine for over a year. This unit features online double-conversion technology so that the electricity is always flowing through the batteries. This is good for a few reasons. First you can use it to clean the power 24/7 before it goes to your equipment. Secondly you can be assured that there is no interruption to the unit when the wall power fails as there is not a cut-over time when the unit would normally go from outlet to battery -- because the unit is always running through battery. The unit is very reliable, and supports an "eco" mode which I found used about 20 to 30 watts less an hour.

Wife got this for me for xmas - works great. I have a few of these Cyberpower units, this specific one backs up up my primary gaming / multimedia rig. It's dead silent, and so far haven't had a hiccup at all. Only one or two power blips here, but it kept everything up nice and smooth. Pure Sine wave is a plus.

This nice reliable unit has saved me on 3 occasions now. Super glad I bought and in fact, may buy another in the near-future.

- Simple - Good quality - Great price - Decent number of ports - Package and shipping was very nice - Comes with rack gear

It works great from the start. Uses normal 115v 15 amp connections common for most houses in the US.

This battery is awesome. I replaced a couple of smaller UPS's with this one in a telco closet.. love the fact that i can just plug this into our comcast business modem and it goes to the net and does it's thing in the cloud. This did come with a 20Amp plug so i had to change it over to the regular straight plug.. but you can get adapters for those.

When I saw the earlier review where, among all the other good things the reviewer had to say about this product, he registered a complaint that the accompanying software would shut the computer down during an outage without saving files, I said hmm? I've had a lower rated Cyberpower unit for several years running its Powerpanel software, and during outages it has always saved files and put the PC in hibernation. Picked up this unit for a second computer, and it operates the same way, e.g., gracefully shuts down with no loss of data for unsaved files. Perhaps the confusion comes from the software config screen, which calls it a "shut down" when it is actually putting PC into hibernation mode. (It's just a simple DOS cmd, "shutdown /h", after all)

- Compact - Easy to set up

This is the finest surge protector that money can buy. I say this not out of a need to reinforce my purchasing decision, but because it is objectively better than every other surge protector that has ever existed. It has protected my electronics from numerous surges of unparalleled magnitude and belligerence.
