Setup was easy you just plug in the power and connect an Ethernet cable from the network device hosting your network to this switch. I ran a 100ft Ethernet cable from our router to this TP-Link switch and it connects my devices just fine. I have an speed test with my desktop, 2 laptops, and my phone (using a j5create hub), and they all cap out at 376Mmbps like it should, that's the same speed I receive if I hardwired directly to the router. Great not having to connect to WiFi, very useful and affordable product.
Have three of these switches - all seem to be perfectly stable (in service about a year and a half now), and Netgear seems to do a decent job keeping up with firmware updates for it (have fixed a couple of critical security vulnerabilities and at least currently my Greenbone Security Assistant setup is happy with them). Dual firmware image slots, and the ability to use it totally offline with no cloud garbage enabled, SSH access, and even the web interface is decently speedy. It's pretty much all you can ask for in a small, passively cooled, smart gigabit switch.
UniFi compatible and suited to the kinds of awful environmental conditions the old Ubiquiti Tough Switch Pro was perfect for. Being managed by UniFi rather than UISP simplifies the network, so it's GREAT to have this niche filled. Surprisingly useful to have more ports, didn't know we needed them until we had the option.
Great product with upgradeable POE settings. Has 3 settings that can be adjusted for your needs when paired with a larger (same voltage) power supply.

Works just fine.
* Nice compact form factor * Included power adapter option is nice * Even nicer is being able to power it off PoE - one less wire/plug socket to deal with * Integrates well with the UniFi Network app, showing what devices are connected to it
4K Surveillance cameras do not require (and probably don't support) gigabit ethernet. The 100Mbps uplink is adequate for the aggregate bandwidth from 4 cameras. The port priority function is a nice feature when attaching a wireless access point to port 1.
Works.. I have a couple Netgear ones a few times, and wanted to try the given the price. Seems to work fine - I did some load testing, but will do more later. Like the form factor (just a little smaller than the Netgear - and nice white finish.
Very sturdy construction, plug it in and it works.

Simply works as expected.
