Works as described. I only attached a keyboard and mouse so I don't know about behavior with printers and external drives. But it was simple to set up - just connect the wires and let windows recognize the peripherals, and I can play online games with no delay or any other problem. It takes a couple of seconds to switch computers after pressing the button but I can live with that. I think it's a better solution than software like synergy. This is plain hardware switching that does not interfere with the computers. I looked at other solutions also thinking that it might be better to click a keyboard key to switch computers but I attached the external button they provide with velcro on my keyboard and it is perfect - no confusion with power down, just switch to another computer.
