- Easy to setup (work perfectly with the OMADA OC200/OC300)- Fast internet acesss- easy setup VPN
Easy to setup and get running!
you can log in to thing to change settings I left the default settings and just plugged it in- and it works great Problem I had is when I switched from one router to this router, my devices were detected but not functioning, i tried everything nothing worked, until I just reset my devices (turn off power and back on), then new addresses were assigned and it worked. The problem was with me, not this router. So ya, it works great, now I don't even think about it. This is just a link to my system, it does channel a bunch of info but the PoE switch does al the work
Fast; got everything working on the first try, including site-to-site VPN. Replaces an aging business class router (ZyWall USG 50) which was not able to keep up with 300Mbps service (was only getting about 150Mbps on 300Mbps download service). With this Edge Router 4, I'm now getting about 330Mbps download speeds. For up-speed, I'm getting about 31Mbps throughput on 30Mbps service).
Easy to set up and use as a router (cable-modem to LAN) and configure DHCP.
RR does a pretty good job on its own to manage bandwidth. Lots of options, for 50$ really neat deal. I was able to load balance a 3Mbit DSL line and a 4G phone (tether). Mutiple session aware apps (Steam) can pull 4.4+MB/sec bandwidth on given situations. I get about ~20mbit on 4G.
Works great
- Fast and easy setup; had to skip some of the automated set-up due to not hooking the Internet connections up directly as I was configuring it via my PC before installing in the TELCO room. - Reconfigured for DUAL WAN - was easy to configure and the router does auto load balancing. Unfortunately you cannot prioritize one WAN port over another. - Very fast 2.5 GB throughput to my QNAP NAS over regular CAT-5.
