We have a large house and the wireless router is downstairs in our daylight basement. We were having problems with speed and connectivity upstairs in the living room, which is on the opposite end of the house. I've placed this extender on the main floor in the middle of the house. Now connectivity is much better and faster. Setup couldn't be easier. Plug it in near the router, press the WPM button on the router, then on the extender and wait a few seconds for the lights on the extender to glow steady. Then just find an outlet where you want to place it and make sure you get a steady connection light. I had my iPad connected within 5 minutes of taking it out of the box.

Just worked, every thing connected, handshakes seem faster, all connected devices seem stabler and measured speed is faster using Ookla, and straight line stable.

Received this a few months back and have been using it ever since I received it. Has been great to me so far and here is what I have to say about it. Right out of the box the extender was very well packaged and all the documents provided clear information about the device and how to set the unit up. I have this set up near my xbox one and playstation 4 down the hall in a open area that I turned into my gaming "area". I have it paired with my Linksys DB router and had no issues getting the two to communicate. After a few hours of gaming on the consoles and my desktop the extender does hold up rather well. My pings were similar in all games vs. my direct Ethernet connection to my pc. For the most part I didn't notice any lag or hiccups while in a match of BF4 or League of Legends. Download/Upload speeds however, are totally opposite. I was averaging 10-15ms in ping, 18-25mbps write, and anywhere from 25-80mbps read. Those speeds AREN'T terribly bad, but I would much rather prefer good ol' ethernet connections. Product is not aimed towards gamers, especially FPS players. This works great as an extender and that's what it's intended to do. Great for business or folks with bigger houses. The ideal use for an extender is to extend your wi-fi's coverage outside of your house, business or wherever you plan to use it and again it does just that. Extender does stay relatively cool which is good. I don't like heat and wall plug, those two don't go together.

Simple connectivity. Set up guide was easy to follow.
