Delivers USB 3.0 speed (5 Gb/s) as advertised. Liked the metallic feel and build of the exterior.

Well made, inexpensive, 2.5 -3.5 drive adapter. I bought this adapter for my SSD to go into a 3.5 multi-drive bay, and it was snap to use. Just drop in the drive and slide into the adapters data connector. Adapter comes with mounting holes and screws if you need them. I have a tool-less, screw-less bay, so this adapter just slid into the drive bay and connected flawlessly. Adapter is designed with air ventilation slots all around, and some sort of coating, that I presume helps the drive adapter disperse heat.

Easy to use, when you need to use a hard drive outside of the pc.

This is a much sturdier adapter than the Akasa adapter I bought at the same time.

- Does the thing

Used in a free slot on my old DDR3-turned-bench computer so I could test M.2 drives (up to it's limit of support). It works flawlessly for what I need it to do. Comes with a heatsink with adhesive pad (which I did not test), some additional screws/risers, the low profile and high profile vented rear panel brackets.

It easily recognized the WD770 1TB SSD. AMD 870e motherboards have a disadvantage when using all M.2 slots: using more than three M.2 slots reduces the GPU's PCIe 5 speed from 16x to 8x. However, using the adapter in a PCIe 4 slot does not affect the GPU's PCIe 5 speed.

I bought this to my laptop, and it worked without a hitch. I have Windows 10 and plugged this in and allowed windows to find a driver. It installed the driver and worked without a hitch. I even use this with a USB hub without problems. While I have not played intense games, I have watched youtube videos on the monitor through the hub to my USB port on my laptop and it works just fine.

The product was packaged great and the cables seem pretty decent for some cheap Chinese stuff. Setup is very easy: one cable goes to one PC and the other goes to another PC. After you plugin the 5v micro-USB cable to give it power, you're ready to go. I currently have my SteelSeries Apex K/B plugged into the switch and it works great. I was somewhat surprised that the Apex software also picks up system info depending on what PC I'm using as I thought the mixing of USB signals would confuse it but nope! One other thing to mention is that I have my Logitech mouse routed through the USB-in on my K/B and the switch picks it up fine on both PCs, pretty awesome. I love that I can switch from my gaming PC to my music production/creativity PC without having to pull out another keyboard and mouse.

Tool-less Hotswap (I have not tested) Passthrough

Needed to replace the onboard network adapter. This adapter was easy to install and setup. Working great and was a great value.

Doubled my download speed in an inexpensive and easy to install card.

Used this charger to replace the Apple charger on iPad Pro as the battery charging became a problem. This unit was shipped quickly and well presented in a secure box. The unit itself is neat and versatile with the multiple ports for charging.

- Metal ends - Braided cable (but not that stupid braid that frays easily) - Comes with cable ties (nice touch!) - Enough power throughput to charge a small laptop - Dang fast transfer speeds
