Zero issues with this drive so far. Been running for a week now and have already used a few TB of data. Got it on sale for $250 which is a great value in June 2025.

I needed two 20Tb Hard Drives for a computer I was building and Newegg was the only supplier that had them in stock and ready to go. Not only that, but their price was better than the others, including That one that starts with an A. From now on, Newegg is the first place I will shop for computer components.

Arrived quickly, worked out of the box.

The IronWolf is rated as an NAS drive. I used them in an attached external drive in Raid1 for important video content I couldnt afford to lose. I cant speak to longevity but Im confident they will meet and exceed my expectations.

Works as expected in my Synology two drive NAS using RAID 1 (Mirrored) solution. I cannot complain, my previous drive died after 8 yrs so I am going again with WD RED solution.

Works great, had a dead drive, but the three others I got were great. Trouble free replacement on the bad drive. Glad I bought from a reputable source.

First Hdd which I got was noise and not recognize by computer. I call wd and they check some thing and after 10 minutes they told me to return hdd. I contact Newegg and they send me Rma number and return labels. I truck return and same day when return arrived at Newegg they send me new driver which I got 2 days after that.I check new hdd and it work good.

Top notch performance for a spinning disk drive Built a massive 60TB array in just a couple days through USB 3.0 (that's pretty good) These don't seem to be the green drives that can corrupt RAID arrays They do power down by my RAID enclosure's instructions, but power up quickly when commanded to do so One bad drive out of five, but replaced by Newegg with a good one one

This is a great hard drive. Its fast and quiet, and I have a lot of confidence in Western Digital drives. Ive been using them fo many years, and have never had an issue with a single one of them.

High capacity with very quiet operation. Sale price was great too!
