If you don't mind the little extra effort to initialize this drive, you've got a phenomenal drive for a great price. Remember, it's barebone, raw, unallocated, and completely blank. You need to use your configuration tools to format and create partitions. Once done, you will have nearly 22 TB of blazing speed, extra storage. I use a docking station, so I don't know how it performs in my PC's drive bay. I wanted a master backup drive for all my other drives, which does the trick nicely.

I needed two 20Tb Hard Drives for a computer I was building and Newegg was the only supplier that had them in stock and ready to go. Not only that, but their price was better than the others, including That one that starts with an A. From now on, Newegg is the first place I will shop for computer components.

After reading the other reviews, it was about 50-50 if the product was a good deal or if a refurbished hard drive would be sent. Wasn't sure if it was from NewEgg or one of their vendors. After receiving this drive, it's new and arrived in 3 days. Sold by NewEgg. Working great! If I need another one, I would order from NewEgg again.

I ordered 5 of these drives, and they all worked 100% out-of-the-box. They were packaged well, and I created a RAID-5 array in a new QNAP just fine.

Excellent capacity... replaced miscellaneous 4TB 6TB even 8TB I had in a 5 Bay dock. I put this 24 into pc case and got rid of dock altogether.

The IronWolf is rated as an NAS drive. I used them in an attached external drive in Raid1 for important video content I couldnt afford to lose. I cant speak to longevity but Im confident they will meet and exceed my expectations.

(I delayed this review until I had extensive experience with the item.) Works great! installation was straightforward, product was new and under full warranty, as verified on the Seagate website, providing 200Mbps data transfers. Delivery was timely as well.

Works as expected in my Synology two drive NAS using RAID 1 (Mirrored) solution. I cannot complain, my previous drive died after 8 yrs so I am going again with WD RED solution.
