Wonderful, for those of us that cannot comprehend why the heck you still wouldn't want/need this drive in your tower, no matter how dang fancy it may be.... Plug an Play, doesn't get any easier than that....

plug and play works great defanatluy a upgrade with the new dvd'less computers. growing up with dvd's and cd's having to download all your favorites was getting annoying now a big hard drive, and a huge collection . I defiantly recommend Intendvision dvd player

Windows mesh with this BDR-XS07UHD seamlessly, its just fantastic how well it works--i am thoroughly impressed as to the software that is supplied... It writes deliberately smooth and plays even as good!!! My "rig" as follows: i9 7980xe, G.Skill Trident Z 32gb (4x8) 3000mhz, Alienware AW3419DW x2, EVGA X299 Dark, EVGA P2 1600watt, WDC SSDs x2 SN720 NVME and so on... Oh, ive Creative Amp X7 wired to 2 drivers by Polk Audio and getting Sub soon? Can i go wrong YES but didn't it is flawless.

Simple, just plug and play. Worked out of the box. Didnt read the manual. Dont know if there was any included software but for my use case I didnt need any. Using this for blurays and 4K blurays. Everything I have put in it has worked flawlessly.

Install the drivers from the CD even though if you have Windows XX it is a good idea there is proprietary software with it you may not want to install.

I ordered this 4 days back and it was delivered across the country. Thanks, Newegg! It truly is "plug-and-play". If you are using iOS, you will not need the included disc which contains the burner software, it will run through iTunes. Just connect the USB cable, hit the "eject" button on front of the device, insert a CD and iTunes will ask if you want to back up the contents onto your Mac. Then it runs without issue.

Fast and easy to use and to install

Small light, does the job. Never have to use the 2nd USB cable. Never used the supplied Cd. Win7 installed drivers, it reads writes, what else do you want.

I was very happy to see that the product description, was very accurate. I needed a player that could play various types of files, especially DVD-RAM discs.
