My CP1500 just died with a non-recoverable F03 error - after 6.5 years of continuous service! I've never had a home-grade UPS last that long. So I'll be buying another one to replace it, since it's slightly out of warranty...

Room for everything, usb ports are great

I was impressed with the good reputation this unit has. I have had poor experience with a competitor’s brand, and after seeing this unit in many professional offices, I decided to give it a try.

My+ old one died same modlue have had good service

My unit arrived packed within another box and was pacled well in its retail box as I had no unit damaged as some others have said. Plugged in components and plugged in unit to wall and everything worked well. Unit seems to do what it supposed as expected. Unit went from wall power to battery nice and fast and keep my system up and running as designed. Lcd display is nice as well as software functions. Setting can be changed via the software or by the unit itself.

Operated exactly as advertised. This review unit arrived with excellent timing. The day after I installed it the power here went out for over an hour with several outages the following week! Not only did the BU 600 keep my cable modem, gigabit switch and a high end router running without missing a beat, I was even able to keep my phone charging. Estimated run time with the new battery and minimalist load was 3 hours+. Of course age reduces the battery capacity, but if you use this product in your server room, it will keep your web connections and routers running like nothing happened for at least 60+ minutes Management software is a free download. The unit was detected on my win7/64 laptop USB and windows drivers installed, and then I installed the APC software. No eyebrow raisers there. Wall mounting holes a nice touch. USB charge port @ 1.5amps shows engineers are listening to customers. I'm seeing this all over the business lately. I just bought a nice desk lamp that has a USB charge port on it.

Easy setup Clean looking Easy management

Very nice as advertised with the battery backup! The LCD Monitor screen is very nice with 6 different options there,the best one though is the current output of % of what you are using at one time! I have my good comp worth 5000$ on it with 2 of my hd flatscreens and my server comp in the battery back up with another comp to, then all my misc stuff in the regular surge part of it.I hit 70% with all this on at once and have a 7 min runtime with the power out, and the software giving allows you to have your comp shutdown auto when power goes out and how quick it does it to! Note: this is just for power outage's , not to run for just battery! and of course ultimate lightning protection! Bottom line i love this product, no worries of unpluggin my equipment during storms any more!

Great runtime for two moderate servers. He fits nicely in a standard rack. Constant voltage readout is a nice touch. Charge and runtime are very good for the price.

The price as it was on sale, good reputable company, quiet. Eaton is a big company that deals a lot in the automotive industry which is how I know of them.
