No setup, just connect all device and ... that`s it!
I keep spare routers ... that's what this is, it just has to work and I'm happy.
Its been working 24/7/365 for over 6 years now with no problems. What else is there to say?
I really like this switch. It has all the great management features you would want, the GUI makes sense, VLANs work as expected, it has POE, and it's got a great slim form factor for wall mounting and getting it out of the way. Comes with the screws necessary to wall mount as well.
Got it on sale for $139, you can't find these anywhere for that price. UBNT gear, need I say more Great APP support POE!
Made our basement internet as fast as the upstairs Fantastic.
UniFi compatible and suited to the kinds of awful environmental conditions the old Ubiquiti Tough Switch Pro was perfect for. Being managed by UniFi rather than UISP simplifies the network, so it's GREAT to have this niche filled. Surprisingly useful to have more ports, didn't know we needed them until we had the option.
Small/efficient design Flexible PoE output
Silent and cool with plenty of room for power requirements with my PoE network cameras.
2.5Gbs speed from my router to the rest of my home network.
40 POE+ and 8 POE++ ports 4 10Gib SPF+ ports Layer 3 features Quiet fans
Easy, deployment, work as described.
Easy setup, it works great. Performance is superb.
All 8 ports are POE Have increased speed from older Gigabit units.
Quiet, rack mountable, Simple Design. no bells whistles buttons or buzzers
Does what it's supposed to. Installed at a customer's business because they had out grown their old 16 port switch. Worked just fine when we set it up and haven't had any problems yet.
- literally plug the cables into the appropriate spots, the lights come on and it starts working. Does exactly what I wanted it to.
4K Surveillance cameras do not require (and probably don't support) gigabit ethernet. The 100Mbps uplink is adequate for the aggregate bandwidth from 4 cameras. The port priority function is a nice feature when attaching a wireless access point to port 1.
- Full 2.5gbps speed on all ports! - It does the job without any compromise. I've saturated the 2.5gb ports many times and it performs well.
