This works beautifully for plugging a USB-C cable into a USB-A power adapter. It let me continue using my in-wall power extender (4 outlets + 4 USB power outlets, 3 USB-A but only 1 USB-C) when I suddenly had 2 devices that needed to charge using USB-C. Used this adapter to plug my new USB-C phone into one of the USB-A power outlets and all is still good! (Can't say the same for the USB-C to USB-A adapters from another vendor - the Hannord ones work great, but the ones from the other vendor charged exactly 1% overnight.)

Solid piece of equipment with no frills. Mounted MVMe drive to it easily. Computer recognized drive. Was able to clone original SSD and boot new copy without difficulty.

Simple to use. Just plug into 2.5 inch SSD or hard drive and to USB port. Works great.

This adapter has the Realtek RTL8153 chipset and is plug-and-play and requires no external software driver package. It works well and provides the needed download speeds.

The adapters were delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and they both work as expected. The best part is that you get two of them, so you have a backup in case something happens to your other adapter. This product is/was extremely useful for the work I do at school, so I'm quite happy with this product.

Worked just fine for Asus Q550F laptop and OCZ Vector 180 SSD. Remember plug your hard disk/SSD to USB 3.0 and also check in Device manager if the device is recognized. Don't forget to Initialize the disk from disk managment(RUN>diskmgmt.msc)

Works as advertised.
