Fast performance and PoE+/++ out of the box! Small footprint and overall a performance beast for my network

- Works out of the box with Ubuntu Linux without any additional work needed. (They use the built-in Aquantia driver) - I have two Ubuntu boxes directly attached using these NICs, and am getting 10gig connectivity.

I plugged it in and it works just fine. Rebate process went smoothly. I'm told (via webpage) that rebate is being processed. Lights to indicate speed are a nice touch.

* Nice compact form factor * Included power adapter option is nice * Even nicer is being able to power it off PoE - one less wire/plug socket to deal with * Integrates well with the UniFi Network app, showing what devices are connected to it

The switch has a very heavy and quality feel to it. POE+ works great with my cameras, and wireless access points.

-Very small form factor -High speed

-Works without dropping connection (unlike like my onboard intel wired network adapter). -Price.

UniFi compatible and suited to the kinds of awful environmental conditions the old Ubiquiti Tough Switch Pro was perfect for. Being managed by UniFi rather than UISP simplifies the network, so it's GREAT to have this niche filled. Surprisingly useful to have more ports, didn't know we needed them until we had the option.

Easy setup with the management software provided. Great low price offered through Newegg and I got a $10.00 rebate on top of it for each one. Net cost was $20 each after rebate. Similar Netgear switch will run about $50-$60 each.

-Whisper quite -Many Features -Web GUI or phone app to manage it -You have to know what your doing or at least read the manual.

All 8 ports are POE Have increased speed from older Gigabit units.

-Plug & Play -Fully managed -Low heat -Dual SFP+ for lower heat -Overall package is so well thought out compared to other low quality switches.
