I tend toward NetGear switches because they are reliable. This is a good desktop switch - does what you need it to do. Trivial point, but I do like the rubber footings that come with it so you can stack it on top of other stuff - no scratching. The lifetime warranty and 24/7 support is great, but I've never had to use either and I've been buying NetGear for 10+ years from level 3, smart switches, and basic ones like this.
