The U7 Pro Max works as expected. I plugged them into my network via POE, adopted them within the console, and waited for updates. No issues. FYI, real-world coverage is closer to 1000 sq ft versus 1500.
i get tired of writing glowing reviews for Ubiquiti products, but here we are again......
- Easy to setup - Small physical foot print - Feels very durable - Easy to adopt into the UniFi controller software
It was easy to setup. it has the ability to run multiple VLANs to isolation networks. It can also adjust the WiFi power.
- easy to setup - lots of options on modes, etc. - great power and range
Reliable connections, good speed, easy to setup and mount.
We have purchased several of these for a medium-sized church to replace some Xyzel NWA1123-AC units that were periodically dropping out. All of the Ubiquiti APs have been flawless, even on Sundays when a large number of users connect to the network. We were able to set up the free Controller software in a dedicated Debian Linux virtual machine and it has been very stable. When the controller is updated, new firmware appears in the management console, which can then be pushed immediately to the APs. I really like the IOS app that enables me to walk around and configure the APs while on the go. We deployed these units on a NetGear GS108PE and use VLANs for appropriate network segmentation.
