I bought this because my television is on a different floor from my router. It was easy to setup, instructions were clear enough that even this old lady didn't have trouble. And best of all, it helped with my television reception.

I found this product to be extremely easy to configure. This was my first attempt at segmenting my network and home network hardening. I found it to have more tools than Ill ever know how to use, but not to the point of overwhelming.

Upgrade from 6 year old router. The initial setup was quick and easy. All of the old devices linked right up. The newer dual-band devices locked right up as well, I am getting 2400 speed on my 802.11ax devices. all good. It has been about 8 weeks now, no drops no issues at all. Locked down and WPA3 security. All good. We have a house on an acre property. The house is basically in the center. I now have good signal all around the acre. Even at the furthest corner I still have 1 bar and functionality.

I have a 31 foot camper about 50 feet from my yard that I use as a studio for my art. One of my issues was that my Wi-Fi signal was not strong out here. I purchased the TP link and the signal has been great and although the red light is on I'm still getting a really good signal inside the camper. I have a TV that I stream, my iPad, and laptop. I also have a Nintendo switch 2 that I can run with no issues. Prior to this all I could do is watch TV because the signal was extremely weak. Very happy!

Setup is easy, as long as you download the user manual from Asus (it is available online BEFORE you get the router). The range is tremendous; I have Wi-Fi in parts of my home that had nothing before. The speed is as advertised. I have the satellite on a shelf in the living room and my wife has no problems with the appearance. The desktop user interface is the same as my previous Asus routers, which I love. It is easy to work with. The phone app is also the same and again I like it. I really like the IoT network because I can set it up to use only the 2.4 ghz band, which some of the older "things" like.

I love the product's sleek design and presentation, and the packaging as well. You really feel like you're opening up a very fancy product. The instructions could have been better but the device is so simple to use, I could hardly see how there'd need to be more details than were provided. This was the perfect solution to extend a wireless network in my folks house using two older wireless routers that could not used as range extenders without bulky wires all over the house or a long time of troubleshooting MAC Address and SSID settings. The house these were used in was very long and I could detect no speed, signal, or quality loss in the connection. I love these sleek little devices, they made my job and my life a lot easier!

The U7 Pro Max works as expected. I plugged them into my network via POE, adopted them within the console, and waited for updates. No issues. FYI, real-world coverage is closer to 1000 sq ft versus 1500.

It was easy to install. I connected it directly to my internet providers modem, but when I connect to this, the speed is actually faster. It covers the bottom so water doesn't go in if you put it outside, but I'm actually just using it indoors.
