Verbatim quality #1, never had an issue with Verbatim, doubt that I ever will. Rewritable up to 1000 writes. Great for data backup or for creating an emergency restore set.

The media type code for these discs is UMEDISC-DL1-64, which is the same media type code that has shown up on the Internet as being sold as a Verbatim brand disc, just not part of their AZO product. The discs will only write at 2.4X or 4X in my HP DVD-RAM GH82N drive, but actually wrote at an AVERAGE of 8.1X on my ASUS DRW 24B1ST drive! I have used different brands of dual layer media that were listed as being 8X capable in the past, but never had one actually attain 8X. In fact I always wrote at 6X speed just to reduce verification errors, yet those discs often failed at a 30% to 50% rate. I've only burnt 3 of these discs so far, but each has verified perfectly.

They work.

I am on my second set of 100.

I bought these for a non-magnetic backup for all my important files including music and pictures, I have over 4,000 titles and I would hate to have to re-download them all from Ama$$n or reload from CD it much easier if have all in single place and at 50G that allows me to backup everything. It took about 2 hours at 4x because the burner limits but that was 44GB of data about 10,000 files so it gets started and it has to start over before it ever gets to max speed of recording

- Great prints - sturdy - I have been using Verbatim for almost 10 years - great data life - good surfaces - not one cluster - best on the market - my epson artisan 810 prints on them beautifully

I don't have any issues using these discs, all burned OK and can be read on different players with no issues. Easy to write on the front label that seems to offer also an extra layer of protection.

Quality produce, reliable, and consistent cipies. No coasters here.

GREAT - CHEAP - PLENTIFUL

I've used Verbatim discs since 1985, when I own a Commodore 64. The quality of the discs have always been flawless. I've successfully burned 3 DVD's, converting AVI files to DVD format, without any coasters. Very rare, in my experience. I love Verbatim products.

Ive burnt about 600 of these now and have thrown out 1, not to bad.

Have burned 14 DVD format disks without any errors.
