plug and play works great defanatluy a upgrade with the new dvd'less computers. growing up with dvd's and cd's having to download all your favorites was getting annoying now a big hard drive, and a huge collection . I defiantly recommend Intendvision dvd player

When it arrived it so well packed that it took me 5 minutes to be able to open it. I was surprise of the quality and the nice look of that dvd writer. The usb type c is a nice feature but it also work on usb 3.0 for poeple that does not have a type c. The quality of the material is high end and nice to look at. I am working with Windows 11 and it was recognize in no time.

Install the drivers from the CD even though if you have Windows XX it is a good idea there is proprietary software with it you may not want to install.

My main concern was for it to playback DVD-DL discs. It does and very well. Used to be you needed a very expensive DVD Blu- Ray player for that. Play back is great, picture great.

I bought this external drive primarily for ripping old CDs and transferring the songs to flash drive. I have not been disappointed in the least with the performance of this drive, it has recognized several older discs and faithfully ripped the songs I needed. Thanks, Newegg!

It works well.

Works, writes about as fast as an internal drive. No need to spend extra on a USB 3.0 unit. Windows 8.1 installed drivers automatically.

I was very happy to see that the product description, was very accurate. I needed a player that could play various types of files, especially DVD-RAM discs. This little drive is capable of a lot of different video types. This is another item that I purchased from Newegg.
