-strong construction, doesn't look cheaply made like most -comes with block off plugs for plugs not used, to me that says a lot

If you live rurally or anywhere power outages or storms happen a lot, then this is a good choice. It works as advertised. Lots of room and color coding.

Lots of plus that are spaced apart for large brick adapters. It's currently powering my entire home theater setup; 50" DLP TV, subwoofer, receiver, digital cable box, DVD player, CD player, and XBox 360 with no problems.

I've been using Tripp Lite Isobars for over 30 years for my home stereo, computer, and sensitive electronics . They are well built both inside and out. I bought these for use with a video surveillance system. The 3 outlet banks are isolated so I needn't be concerned about interference between the power supplies of the DVR, cameras, and monitor. The specs on this model far and away exceed the requirements for a surge protector as specified by the surveillance equipment manufacturer.

I bought them for the 10ft cord, and they are worth it. Plenty of plugs, good USB charging, and surge protection. just what I needed.

Perfect for protecting a new DSL modem, router and All-in-One fax printer for a friend's new home network. Superb specifications and warranty. Sliding safety (and dust) covers snap closed over unused outlets and can be reopened by an adult. Good indicators are obvious yet not too bright.

Plug is nice and flat (cord comes out the side of it)- good for spaces that you might have furniture up against. Great Joule rating. I've looked and I've never personally came across many surge protectors that surpassed 4000, which is what this is rated at. The only one higher (that I could find) was the BELKIN BP112230-08 at a 4320 Joule rating. Apparently has "Oversized Metal Oxide Varistors". Varistors are the magic behind what makes surge protectors work and they've been around since 1973. If you can find it, look up a video by EdisonTechCenter online in which Bill Morris explains it all.

Product as described. Prompt shipping. Had a failure in one of my surge suppressors (don't know if it was just a failure of components or an actual overvoltage problem-but it fried the electronics). This was available and I needed one with 6 outlets and 1 additional outlet for my Chromecast, this fit perfectly.
