Good SSD cooler with one caveat. Comes with several heat pads of different thickness and even includes a mini screwdriver. Installing a single-sided SSD will have no issues whatsoever.

Well, I expected to return this product because of shipping and handling mishaps...but product was well packaged to absorb any drops, bumps, etc.. Overall product works very good.

-Transfer rates are good - average a little over 200MB/s, drive to drive on the same LSI HBA on Unraid if it matters. -Temperature is good - average 30C in a 20C room during continuous transfer of files, about the same as a 6TB (WD6003FFBX), and about 5C lower than a 10TB (WD102KFBX). Idle temp is ~26C. This drive and comparables are in the same server/array. - Noise is relatively low, about the same as a 6TB and noticeably more quiet than the 10TB. - Cost per TB is good when on sale, very close to the largest 18-22TB rate.

Doing LLM training and needed to use a 35TB training file and 3TB validation file. Used 3 of these drives to create a RAID 0 drive with approx 54TB capacity. (this is on Ubuntu and formatted with XFS file system since usual EXT4 tops out at about 16TB file size.) Works great and much faster than a single drive would be due to the striping of RAID 0.

Easy to clone NVMe drives that would otherwise be a huge pain. No setup, built in functionality, just works. can handle a larger Target NVMe, which was my use case, upgrading an existing OS drive in a Laptop.

perfect for NAS. I don't really need the AI function in the drives they sit in a UNIFI protect set up. I have the 24TB one in my home protect set up and initially it was loud, but it has become more quite since it finished it originally set up. I have 8 of the 8TB drives with no issues. 2 are cold spares. when they go in I'll order 2 more. I take the drives that are out of warranty and typically put them in our 3rd tier backup NAS systems and they seem to live forever. Technically out of "service life" but that doesn't mean I take them offline, I stick them into a lower use environment to live out their days storing old accounting stuff. Nothing as exciting as VIDEO

I have been taking all my data/music/pictures and putting it on the external hard drive as I now have both a desk top (working from home) and a new laptop. This drive is fast and moves very easily between the two computers and allows me to use my data between the two computers as I do not use the cloud. So far I have only used a half a TB. I have used WD hard drives for many years and have never had a problem with them.

It's a WD, so ofcourse it works perfectly.

Name Brand, only 1 drive has failed in the last 4 years out of 150-200 drives installed. Def recommend.

Easy to use. I own several of these NVMe enclosures as well as some standard SSD Orico enclosures.

2TB is a good sized drive for all that I need right now and it's so nice that modern tech has compacted everything so beautifully! This drive is no bigger than a cell phone. I can unplug it and stick it in my pocket. That way wherever I happen to be I have everything I could possibly want on one small device. Easy!

I would recommend Western Digital HDDs (or even their SSDs, I've got those, too) to anyone needing to expand or enlarge their existing system. Easy to install and configure to your Windows OS.
