In Hard Drive

I had several 250 Gb ssd drives that I was going to throw away as they were too small to use as a C drive and were useless to me. I ordered one of these to see how it worked. I was really surprised, connected this to my USB 3.1 connection and it is faster or as fast as my M2 main drive. It is perfect as a backup drive. It's clear plastic so you can see which drive is in it. I ordered another one because I was impressed with it.

Works good, high capacity

Just plug it in. Software simple to setup. Once setup, simple to use.

- Comes with plastic knockout to use as dust covers for either the Slim ODD slot or the 3.5" if/when not in use. - As expected, locking plastic tabs work nicely and are easy to work with. - Came with a large variety of screws to accommodate a large number of devices. Included screws: Slim ODD M2*4, 3.5" HDD #6-32*6, FDD/'3.5" device' M3*6 (narrow pitch), 'device' (bracket itself I think) M3*6 (wide pitch). - Came with a slimline SATA to standard SATA extension/adapter cable necessary for using a slim/ultra slim ODD with a standard power supply. - Has all the screw hole options for mounting different devices. I mounted a card reader and it's nice and snug.

- Capacity - Speed - Buffer size - Reliability

- Warranty - Performance isn't bad - Not as loud as previous Toshiba drives

It stores a sufficient amount of data and retrieves it quickly for a reasonable price. Plug into PSU, plug into motherboard, power on and install OS; everything is shiny and easy, no problems. Can't hear it spinning in the case; quiet.

Good value 7200rmp low noise fast transfer rate.

Absolutely the best HDDs on the market! Now I have room for a LOT of future storage.

runs cool ,very well ventilated unlike some of the other external hard drives out there

Works out of the box. Quiet. USB ports. Warranty. Size. Price.

Western Digital has NEVER let me down. They are the only drives I ever buy. I bought 2 of the RE4's & put them in a DS211j, & they MOVE. I have a 40G WD in a Dell that has been going strong for 9 YEARS. On average, it seems like you'll pay more for them, but it's worth it to me. The RE4 is no different.

I knew exactly what I purchased and Received exactly that. Will buy from this seller again!

Used to expand my NAS, arrived promptly and was well packaged. No complaints.

Western Digital drives are a constant staple for me. They are rock solid and never fail.

Capacity keeps going up and prices keep going down. This one has been working just fine as a back-up drive as soon as I received it and plugged it in. Using it with Acronis True Image.

great price for this monster sized hard drive fast external at 7200 rpm

fast shipping for a 3rd party

Just works. Comes with clear instructions (once you read the correct side) and feels fairly durable. The lights for the % done is bright enough and clear.
