I've had good luck with WD external drives in the past and this one was no exception. It was immediately recognized and accessible from both Win 7 and Win 10 machines. The power cord has good length as does the data cable (sometimes those tend to be pretty short!) I've been using it extensively for the past couple weeks and all seems fine - data transfers are reasonably quick, no problems with integrity thus far, and the size of the drive (12TB) is a beautiful thing!
