18TB is nice No failures, (bought 3).

I would recommend Western Digital HDDs (or even their SSDs, I've got those, too) to anyone needing to expand or enlarge their existing system. Easy to install and configure to your Windows OS.

Drive was recieved on time and installed easily. Works great.

First use was to create a windows 11 system image from an M2 C: to D: on this device. Now I have this to examine those old SSD SATA and M2 drives without opening the PC case. Works on spin SATA drives as well. Also used to clone a 512GB M2 to a 2TB M2.

No Problem with these drives. Plug them in, initialize, format and you're off and running. Great 5 year warranty and high duty cycle are the draws here.

worked perfectly. plug and play as described. was able to recover files easily off SATA HDD, after Windows completely crashed and made access impossible.

Works 1TB of storage SATA Price Quiet I originally got this drive to put windows on until I was able to get an SSD for my main drive. Still using it as my main drive until then. Mainly because my other storages are full. When I get the SSD I am going to install my OS onto that and then wipe this one clean and use it as a storage. I then plan on getting more storage drives when I can afford them. Slowly but surely. Been working on this build for years now.

It did fit a Slim Optical Drive. That a Optical drive that's used in a laptop for example. Part of my rating is that Newegg knows what they are doing. The First vender on Newegg's list did not deliver. I will leave that for customers to figure out. The least expensive vender is not always the best way to go. Now for the device itself. It works great. It also gives me an extra by for a 3.5" HDD or other drive device like a card reader. Icy Dock makes awesome bay adapters. Everything installed fine. The SATA power adapter is best thing too. You need this adapter to use a Laptop Optical Drive in a desktop PC. Icy Dock did not miss a trick.

Well made. Easy to use. Fast. Some of these transparent enclosures are tricky to open and close but not this one. Very easy to open and close. Makes it easy to swa drives in and out. USB 3.1, Type C guarantees speed.

We use these drives in all our surveillance systems. High capacity, reliable, and inexpensive.

This HDD has plenty of capacity for my security cameras. I switched from a 4TB to a 14TB and now I have months of video storage!

Works as advertised for a reasonable price and it looks great. Have written approximately 500gb to the portable HDD over two file transfer events without issues. Interested in seeing how well it hold up over the coming years. Surprising fast transfer speeds for an HDD over USB 3.0.

The 4 TB space is amazing. Love it... I can move files from multiple flash drives and old laptops to this one location and I love that. Consolidating my files in one place.
