Fast and easy transaction. Unit was delivered as expected with no extra fee and on time A+++

Easy to use and came fairly quickly.

Able to store my entire family's library of movies, photos, videos, files, you name it. Drives have worked well under load, are fast for our needs and have been reliable.

Non so far

-Fast for an HDD -Works as expected

Performance seems good relative to 5900rpm 4TB drive I was using in old PC

It's been a while since I've had a Seagate hd forgot how noisy they are but they work great.

Great value for money, reliable, huge storage

24TB! 7200 rpm, great value.

Really fast.

Installed in a As1104T NAS. Installation was simple and the drive has performed well. Its quiet in Operations and, so far, has had no problems in use across the network. Newegg has been a recent "go to" for my network storage needs.

Massive storage to put all of my game recordings in... and maybe as a standby when the unexpected happens.

quiet and fast

Added to Unraid array with no dropped sectors.

One of largest drives on the market. Meant for 24/7 operation. Quiet. Works well in my NAS. No errors found on drive.

First impression after starting it on a dock this morning is: What a speedy beast! My fist 8088 PC had a seagate 20MB doing 125 kB/s from an MFM controller. Took 2.5 hours for low-level then DOS format The WD takes less than a day to fill. Wonder what The SAS version does. And got 2 with a 5 year warranty for less than twice the price per TB of 12 unwarrantied 3TB HGST K4000 being auctioned today. Conditional to lasting performance this is a Super Deal! At room temperature they runs the 220 MB/s R/W test at 45 C cool! Since they are 7200 RPM they will probably be OK as spares for my 8*18 TB raid array.

No Problem with these drives. Plug them in, initialize, format and you're off and running. Great 5 year warranty and high duty cycle are the draws here.

For Synology NAS users, the Synology brand drives means easier adoption, less headaches and fewer notifications. The extra small pennies/gb price per GB over other enterprise drives with worth it. No need to worry about compatibility with many features of DSM 7.1

I needed a very large external HD for a major family project. After extensive research I decided that WD was the logical choice. So far no problems and hope it stays that way.

-Lots of storage for the price-Good read and write speeds-Good QC
