Using this to control a couple case fans and just wanted them at a fixed speed. This worked perfect for what I needed. Just find a nice spot to put it where your fan wires can reach. Hook up a 6pin power and set speed with blue knob where it works best.

I sort of hungered for a item as nice and effective as this one in builds from day one decades ago. I set 5 fans to ventilate well and quietly on a stripper MoBo with a total of two 3 pin jumpers for fans. The 3M adhesive is great and the thinness of the unit allows it to be affixed to the steel CDROM cage on most cases. It is about 1/2 to 9/16" thick by my estimate.
