After replacing some original case fans, I found that the new ones were louder than the original fans due to higher RPM's. I bought this controller and connected it to the 2 new fans and adjusted it to quiet the fans yet have good air flow. The controller mounts inside the case so after installing covers it is not accessible
Very simple to install. Fan speed for all connected fans is adjustable using the knob on the board. Works as expected.
