The temp sensor is for case temperature only which is exactly why I purchased this other than to replace cheap garbage sag bracket for my 4090 that I had. It does however follow any settings for RGB that you have set for your motherboard. The cord is long enough for a medium case, but may need an extension for a larger case. It's well made. The temp readout is a good size to read from a distance and very accurate (see the last 2 pics next to my thermometer). I did test it with my finger and it was very fast at reading my body temperature, like instantaneously. The magnets are strong enough to keep it in place. The sag bracket I had previously would move and would have to be adjusted every few weeks..

it's great graphics holder, however I'm selling it because it doesn't fit in my case/build, before buying I just recommend to buy the case first and everything else and then check the width/height of this product if it fits your case and hold the GPU way you want it to.
