Enough space to be able to short stroke it Max write speed 190Mb/s (edge of the disk)

Quiet and reasonably fast.

Performance seems good relative to 5900rpm 4TB drive I was using in old PC

Hard drive is everything advertised, good price large storage. The important note is newegg customer service. Ordered 2 and 1 was damaged in shipping, rma'd product with some pictures and newegg sent me a brand new one. Never got a return label from ups or a schedule to pick up the dead one but that's fine, all I cared about was getting the replacement for my project. 10/10

- It is a hard drive - it instals like any normal hard drive - it is as loud or quite as any drive

Price & delivery were great - works for the home Syn NAS. Both are quiet and responsive.

enjoying extra storage

-Work well -quiet -should be reliable based on past experiences

I Purchased a total of 6 of these drives to set up a Synology DS1522+ NAS and so far every thing is working great. Drives arrived in perfect shape and in very little time from my order dates. Installation was a breeze and the unit is up and running perfectly as of this review.

quiet and fast

Installed in a As1104T NAS. Installation was simple and the drive has performed well. Its quiet in Operations and, so far, has had no problems in use across the network. Newegg has been a recent "go to" for my network storage needs.

the hard drives came in a very protective packaging. Very easy to install.

WD drives have been very good! I needed a 3TB drive to replace one that failed in my server! This one was on sale and I have had very good success with WD drives!
