- Fast benchmarks - 5 year warranty - Enterprise grade - Affordable

verified 5 year warranty shipped from newegg 18 TB for a good price.

Works great, fast, quiet. I went from an OCZ PCIe SSD which I won't buy anymore after 3rd one died on me. Lifespan on this mechanical HDD is longer than an SSD, reliability is high. LOTS of SPACE for less money! Zero noticeable speed difference going from the OCZ SSD. I wouldn't buy anything other than this. NOTHING wrong with it.

Shipping was on time. Package seemed to be in good condition. Even arrived on a rainy day, which was great to backup while the weather was wet. Ran a Self Test on the Drive everything seemed to pass. I didn't monitor the speeds, but it took almost half the day to back up 4tbs of Data. Synced it and took a nap. 8tbs for 110$ is a solid grab. Limited to 2 per person- saved me money because I would of bought more.

-- New unopened HDD with zero hours of use delivered. -- Paid about 1/2 price of what the same HDD in new condition (Non-Refurbished) is currently going for. (Paid $135 and current sale on this HDD is $275. -- This is a fast and relatively quiet spinning platter storage device.

Does not throttle under heavy load or copying large file.

Specialty drive for NAS, save money on energy costs

Spin up fast, fast access times, excellent density for the size. I have been using these (8 so far) in ESXi servers for over 3 years, I have never had a failure. 4 of these have replaced "laptop" hard drives during that timeframe. Very happy with these. They are proving well worth the money (you get what you pay for is true here, higher quality components), these are after all Enterprise-class HDDs.

Great solid hard drive. This is my second western digital. My first is a WD Black. Both work great and are super quiet.

Name Brand, only 1 drive has failed in the last 4 years out of 150-200 drives installed. Def recommend.

Huge capacity and performant

Works as advertised.

Ran 4 of these in a storage array for a few years. They replaced a similar array built on smaller SATA drives. Needless to say, they're muuuuch faster than the SATA drives.

Setup is easy, not like hard drives really are all that hard to setup these days. most are plug an play and format. even tho it's only 5400rpm drive I haven't experienced any tearing or stuttering during playback like I have with some 5400rpm drives in the past. Drive seems heftier in the build quality than other 4tb drives i have used. I imagine they increased the amount of aluminum they used in the construction of the body to help dissipate heat better. Power consumption must be on point as my APC tracks power spikes and usage. and I am still drawing the same amount of power I was before installation.

I've had this for a year now and no issues. I only use it for storage. I have an SSD for the system drive running Windows 10. I partitioned the drive into two 3TB partitions. One I use for user data and the other for "public" data. Still working. Still have lots of space left on both partitions. I actually replaced 2 older drives with this one, when I built this machine last year.

Still working perfectly after 5 years.

Good price 12gb interface Works well so far in my Adaptec raid 5

Quiet, well rated, they have an excellent failure rate in the wild and they are living up to it. The speed is nothing fantastic, but they are fast enough and I never feel like they are slow, but I have them in a striped raid, so ymmv.
