It works exactly as expected. It is highly recommended.

Holds the OCZ Solid 3 and like ssds, which are a touch bigger than most other ssds and hdds, which have a problem fitting into these 2.5 slots. has a brace that would protect the pci

Good construction Lightweight Very Easy installation of drive

Simple easy way to use 5-1/4" bays for 3-1/2' drives. Metal, so no stripping screws in plastic and they can take the heat from the drive. They use to come in the retail kits when 3-1/2” drives were new and most cases had only 5-1/4” bays.

- Small, robust. - Has fan cooling. - Uses Molex 4-pin. - Key seems unique.

Includes screws, (2) SATA cables, Y-SATA cable.

Fits correctly, comes with all you need to install.

Solid build and great air flow. It appears to be quiet running too, hard to tell due to running in server, CPU fans are loud.

Works exactly as designed.

The device did exactly what I needed it to do. I removed the front 3.5" HDD bracket in my Phanteks Evolv ATX TG case to allow me to use a front-mounted 360mm radiator. But, I still needed one slot for a 3.5" HDD. After seeing there was a mounting mechanism for this HDD caddy in the basement, I ordered it and it allowed great fitment for the one 3.5" drive I needed. Less than five minutes to install.

Very good construction. This item is made of steel and is heavy, not made of cheap plastic. The screw holes line up perfectly for the Samsung 850 Pro drives I have. Works in tower model (aluminum case) Mac Pros with 4 drive bays. Also works in HP z800 series workstations, at least my z800 (2010. 2011?). The drive plugs into the adapter built onto the unit which provides the interface that plugs into the computer. I did not use this in an application that uses cables: only in systems where you slide the adapter into a drive bay using a tray and lock it into place. Highly recommended for this type of application.
