Cheap - bought for $12, Hoverhound said highest price in past 2 months was $15. Power Switch - You don't see many other hot swap bays with power switches but it's important!! I don't care if other bays boast their smooth hard drive ejection; if my drive is NOT powered off, there is risk of jolting the drive and potential strain / damage since the disc is still spinning. This has power switch AND LED. Extra benefit of power switch: You don't have to buy an expensive controller to choose which hard drive to turn on or off. If you have multiple hard drives, this allows you to choose when to power on or off the hard drive in the bay. It's a HOT SWAP BAY. Easy, tool-less, front access! Everyone should be using this to minimize hard drive hassles. Someone said they had Molex power but mine was completely SATA. Takes up to 4TB drives - I cannot test that, but they say so. If you have the Chinese instant messenger QQ, you can contact support that way. I don't know how their other support options are, but the two people who helped me through instant messaging were friendly, helpful, and more than fully answered my questions - and didn't mind the awkward Chinese I wanted to practice. :)

Great package. Every thing you need to place a 2.5 drive in a desktop tower.

Well constructed, includes screws, Bottom mount screw holes work with Antec case.

• Efficient use of space: fits two, hot-swappable 2.5in drives and a slim optical drive in a single 5.25in bay. • Drive carriages are interchangeable with other Icy Dock products, and extras available on NewEgg--item #N82E16817994125. • Once the bay is installed, everything--even the optical drive--can be changed from the front, without opening the computer case. • You do NOT need an adaptor for installing a slim optical drive to your standard SATA ports with this bay--the bay is powered by Molex and attaches with standard SATA cables, so in effect, the bay is your adaptor. • All metal construction: cool, sturdy, and looks nice.

Solid works as expected Bought on sale for $40

Fits what it says it fits.

Nothing to it, just plug it in.

Exactly what I wanted, metal not plastic

Its not as flimsy as others have said. Its not made of metal. It is plastic and if you are going to be hard on it, it will probably break. WD Red SSDs fit great in it. No alignment issues and no drives going missing

Seems solid well built drive doesn't move around too much inside

Persuaded by prior reviews that this was a piece of 'cheap plastic', I instead ordered the Lian Li FDD bracket. After half an hour with a Dremel tool enlarging the bracket screw holes, I discovered that the Lian Li front rectangular opening was too small. Irritated, I ordered the StarTech bracket, and the Bytecc FDD fits the StarTech bracket perfectly.

Hardware Included, easy Installation, Compatible with SanDisk SSD, Compatible with Lenovo Legion 5 Tower.

Works perfect for my application. I upgrade/retrofit a lot of Dell Optiplex PCs with the "Blue" HDD cages and this works great for me even though it recesses the connector about 1". The cables still reach. This is well made and very versatile. It is also very easy to install because it is tool-less. Thanks for making a great product. I will not bother with any other adapters. I have tried a few others and it isn't worth it.

Good fit, easy install. Hardware was included. I used this mount to install an internal card reader in a 5.25" drive bay and it worked as intended.

I thought this is the only 12Gbps hot-swap hard drive module I could found. Built a file server and like to try SSD drives for maximizing data transfering speed. This module’s performance is pretty impressive for me! The 12Gbps mini-SAS HD is awesome!

Solid feel

Wow! They took a regular old bracket adapter and made it extremely useful. I love this thing and for the price there's no reason NOT to buy it if you need a 3.5 to 5.25 adapter

It’s a fairly robust metal. The finish is nice and it stacks/clips to each other solidly.
