Has a nice fan to keep hard drives cool. Has bright led light on the front. Conected it to my HP P410 SAS RAID card and am getting 6gbs speed from raid5 volume. Easy installation, only takes up 2 5.25 bays for three hard drives. Drives are removable from front just like a real server. Great price also.
Works great, just what I needed.
Holds two drives.
- you can install a 2.5" SSD or laptop HDD and a 3.5" HDD at the same time if you have the SATA ports to support it of course. Only uses one SATA power connector. - installs in single bay
Easy to use and install, solid piece of equipment. Probably the first and maybe still the only one, of it's likes in the business of removable NVMe drive Rack. Apr.2018
It's pretty straight forward and it works well. I have it in my Laptop with two WD 2tb drives raid 0. It boot up just fine.
Mount and screws. Nothing more needed.
I used this to read contents from over 300 DVDs and it worked at a nice speed with no slow down on a SATA DVD Drive. Later, I connected it to a LG Black 16X Blu-Ray BDXL SATA Internal Rewriter, Model BH16NS40 and it worked! I was able to play Blu-ray movies without problems, admittedly I didn't try burning any discs.
NICE ITEM WELL MADE . WORKS WELL MAKES CHANGING HARD DRIVES A LOT FASTER AND EASIER GREAT PRODUCT

Good tactile feel. Colors help if you color prioritize 2.5" external drives.
Easy install Adds extra front IO Allowed me to keep my PCs ability to play DVDs while also adding a U.2 hotswap bay Comes with Sata adapter for the laptop dvd slot
I bought the wrong adapter initially. While waiting for this to arrive, I managed to get my SSD boot drive to work by positioning it in the computer with scotch tape. I was disappointed that it wasn't working that much faster than my 3.5" drive. Got the sled, installed the SSD in a couple minutes and rebooted. Once it was properly seated, I rebooted and was impressed by how quickly it booted and my music/video programs loaded.
