The device did exactly what I needed it to do. I removed the front 3.5" HDD bracket in my Phanteks Evolv ATX TG case to allow me to use a front-mounted 360mm radiator. But, I still needed one slot for a 3.5" HDD. After seeing there was a mounting mechanism for this HDD caddy in the basement, I ordered it and it allowed great fitment for the one 3.5" drive I needed. Less than five minutes to install.

I used three of these to fit 4 SSDs and 2 HDDs into my build. Makes it so much easier to pull out drives and insert them when I need to copy data from one PC to another. I can just pop a drive in and copy the data off lightning fast! I also have all of my Steam games installed on a single SSD - I can just pull the drive out and play the games on my laptop on the go! These bays are great, stay cool. They are well made - the construction is top notch. Being all metal, there is no flexing issues or breakage risks. I dual boot, and as such keep the boot drives in one cage, locked so they don't accidentally get released.
