The dimensions are correct. The frame is lightweight. It comes with the screws needed to secure a 2.5" HDD or SSD to the frame.
Fits perfectly comes with all hardware you could possibly need and a little extra Build with great materials
These thermal pads are the same as you would get with any NVMe enclosure. They are thermally stackable. I had a gap issue with a NVMe enclosure that I had purchased a while ago. The pad that came with the enclosure wasn't thick enough. The NVMe SSD. would get so hot I needed to open the enclosure to cool it down to complete the transfer. I found these pads on Newegg and for the price I figured I'd give it a try. The gap was so wide I had to stack 2 on top of the existing pad to make contact with the enclosures heat sink. I tried a similar sized transfer. No more issues with the NVMe getting too hot and the transfer went strait through. I'm glad I took a chance. Now I don't need to replace the enclosure. If you do find that you need to stack 2 or more thermal pad, make sure there are no air bubbles trapped between them.
I removed the stock HDD and installed a SSD on my iMac, and this fit like a glove. This bracket has a total of 4 mounting screws to hold down your SSD unlike other brackets that only hold with 2! This bracket also will allow you two stack a total of two SSD's together. It came with all the screws I needed and I had extra at the end (because I didn't mount a second SSD). BTW, I installed a Crucial MX200 SSD if anyone is wondering which one I installed.
job made earier
Easy to install, without any issues, had them up and going with drives in minutes.
Great package. Every thing you need to place a 2.5 drive in a desktop tower.
All solid metal Comes with rubber mounts for 2.5" drives and all the screws you need. Paint is very durable feeling
I got one for my main computer which has Vista 64 on it. And had no O/S problems with it. I have bought at least eight of them to go in my windows Vista and windows XP 32.
Mine was actually black, not bare metal.
Exactly what i needed.
It is metal and well made
Very well built, hard case. They have a latch that I do not see ever wearing out. They are padded inside, and grip the drive when closed so the drive does not move around. They sit very nicely on my shelf like DVD cases (siting vertically) :)
Release Date: 11/02/2025
The case holds the 3.5" HDD's nicely. I store the drives in ESD bags and the bags in the slots and it works well
Too cheap not to buy even if you dont need the parts. I have used the splitters and cables in other builds than the bracket.
Fit perfectly in my early 2008 (3,1) Mac Pro, allowing me to properly mount my SSD OS drive and relocate my HDD time machine drive (using the two "extra" ODD SATA ports), freeing up all 4 HDD trays for a RAID array.
- Works great especially for SSDs - Used in a budget server with GA-H110M-S2H and SATA Hot Swap works flawlessly
I am making a media server / Game machine for the living room and needed plenty of HDD space for movies and games using Eclipse P500A DRGB with 8 4TB drives, 2 8TB Drives and 1NVMe for Boot. These Brackets fit well in the case and are easy to install and remove.
