I paired this with a 10700 Non-K because it was the most reasonably priced ITX option that would allow the use of factory overclocked memory. Base frequency boost was a pleasant surprise (required BIOS update) that really wakes up this locked processor (see i7-10700 TechPowerUp review for substantial performance gains), you can set your TDP limit to match your cooling capacity. It's not going to be breaking any overclocking records with K processors or have all of the latest I/O and if you don't need that then this board is solid for the price. If you do need more I/O or a stronger VRM then you'll need to seek higher end options that cost nearly double.

When building with this board, some things left me scratching my head, thinking "nobody thought of that?"
-Front panel audio connector is directly beside the PCI-E slot, making it seemingly impossible to use with a graphics card installed. (I have a 3060ti) If cases had a 90-degree cable then it wouldn't be a problem, but I've never seen such a thing.
-The second case fan header is located next to the left of the RAM slots, making it exceedingly difficult to connect fans AFTER the CPU cooler is installed. Luckily I was able to just remove the fan from the cooler in order to plug in a fan splitter, but if I had a low clearance cooler or one that was just slightly wider, I would have had to remove the whole tower just to access the fan header.
-Despite there being a rear USB C connection, there is no onboard connection for a front panel header?
Would I recommend it? Yes. Just be aware of its limitations.
I would purchase this again, seeing as it's the only somewhat budget-oriented z490 Mini-ITX
motherboard available in Canada.
What would I change? The front panel audio connector and the 2nd case fan header need to be moved. By a centimeter. That's about it.
