Burns everything well. Fed a few different breeds of disc through it (TDK DVD and DVD+DLs, Optical Quantum BD-Rs, Sony DVDs and CDs, even some cruddy Aone Plus+ BD-Rs), and the only problem I ran into was trying to burn junk media too fast. Backed off the speed a bit from 10x to 8x (this is on media rated for 4x), and it was fine. Checked the burn quality using DiscSpeed on a drive with scanning capabilities. Excellent scores for the media I'm using. The LED on the front is not just some mindless blinking "busy" light, but actually goes out to tell you when a buffer underrun occurs. This is important diagnostic info for multi-burner systems. Quiet.
