It just works the way it's supposed to. No problems at all. The slots are clearly labeled as to Source and Target drive. Treat it as you should treat any other external drive or flash drive. If you're going to remove or swap drives, eject the device first, disconnect it from the computer, and turn it off. Then remove or swap drives, turn it back on, and plug it back into the computer. Works perfectly and doesn't destroy drives that way. I leave it on my desk next to my iMac and plugged into power, so it's ready to use whenever I want.

Economical solution for fast storage, backups, large files, etc... will plug into a standard USB 3.0 as well as USB-C ports and doesn't require an external power supply to run. Nice thermal pad / heat sink solution as well. Just pop the SSD into the slot, secure with silicone push pin, screw the cover closure down and attach the data cable of choice.

worked as planned no problems

I used this to copy my Steam games to a larger drive. Speed is decent and setup was easy.

Excellently done. Simple and obvious to use. All the screw holes line up perfectly with the DVD-ROM drive I hide. They give you plenty of screws and a screwdriver! Solid tight fit when done. I was very pleased.

First use was to create a windows 11 system image from an M2 C: to D: on this device. Now I have this to examine those old SSD SATA and M2 drives without opening the PC case. Works on spin SATA drives as well. Also used to clone a 512GB M2 to a 2TB M2.

So easy to use
