This is no harder to set up than a thumb drive and at a much lower price than a thumb drive of the same storage capacity. And it takes a standard micro-USB to type-A USB cord

So far the product is working just fine but I have had a handful of these in the past and they only seem to last a year or so.

Came undamaged in about 2 days from time of order and it was easy to install and xfer all the games/files i wanted to from my xbox to it. I've been buying stuff from new egg since they were just selling computer parts, and they have still yet to disappoint so I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a rig, or just buy anything now that their selection is so vast

- I had to buy something with enough storage and reliable performance to last me for the foreseeable future, and this suited me perfectly. - My motherboard can run it at USB 3.1 max, but USB 3.2 will give you greater performance.

I bought two of the WD 2TB My Passport Portable Storage external hard drives in red. I plan to keep one at home and the other in my safe deposit box. The red color was more expensive, but it makes backing up files more fun to do! These drives are easy to use, and I did not install the software; I just plugged-and-played. These are the smallest external hard drives I've ever had. The shipment arrived quickly. Thank you!

I'm saving family photos at high resolution for myself & future generations. This Elements external hard drive is easy to label, store and copy to share with others.

This isn't the drive I needed but it works well for what I need. I needed expansion for my game console, we'll just say, starts with X (so my review won't be taken down). Well for non techy types like myself, this is not plug and play AT All. And for the people wanting a cheap alternative to all the "x" branded stuff... just format this drive to exfat on the PC and the X will read it.

Thankfully this drive comes with an adapter!!! Software is able to interface with cloud storage like Facebook, Dropbox, and Google Drive. It also offers a hardware based encryption with a dedicated chip for AES 256-bit encryption Good styling - the blue is a dark blue and I think it looks nice Solid warranty of 3 years both for parts and labor. Better than most companies. They will probably replace your drive, but I doubt they will try to recover your files for you
