I always but this when its on sale. Many will claim there is better paste but its just not true. All the expensive pastes are good but this this one has always given me my best temps. Its very pliable and its wasy to use. You only need a very small grain of rice size dab in the middle of your CPU. Do not spread it. Let the force of the HS spread it for you. This insures no air bubbles.
Its toxic. Do not get it on your bare hands or skin.
I've tried many. I have a collection of pastes from buying and free samples for testing. This is th3e one I always go back too for my personal rig
I only wasted $7 on it?
It doesn't work nearly as well as advertised. It's not as good as the thermal compound that came with my NH-D14 heatsink.
Reapplied 4 times to be sure it wasn't my fault, but nope - this stuff has my CPU 1-3C HOTTER than Noctua's compound.
I'm sure this is better than the stock compound that Intel/AMD use, but if you bought a decent heatsink that came with its own thermal compound, just use that and don't bother spending your money on this.
I'm using an i7-2600k @ 4.8 GHz @ 1.40V with a Noctua NH-D14 heatsink.
