Overall Review: I had been looking for an actual gaming monitor to replace the old 1080p tv I had been gaming on for years. I wanted gsync not freesync as my graphics card is a 980ti and I wanted to take advantage of vrr. And I won't be upgrading my graphics card for at least another year. Gsync was recognized and activated as soon as I powered everything on. Even though my card is a bit dated now it pushes this monitor really well. I play a mix of different kinds of games. I can max out all of my older games and max out the refresh rate and everything is buttery smooth. On the games I can't max out the fps the gsync really helps keep fps dips smooth and unnoticeable. it is a great monitor. Has very minimal ips glow that is really only noticable when playing in the dark while the screen is displaying a dark image. Even then you have to look for it. The colors and detail are top notch. I was weary buying recertified but am glad I did. No dead pixels all hardware and cables were included.

Pros: Nothing, monitor was shipped poorly and was shot when I powered it up.

Cons: I'm very disappointed in how Acer ships refurbished items. The monitor came in a plain brown box with large bubble rap holders on each end of the screen. Nothing protecting the middle of screen.

As soon as I opened the box I knew it wasn't going to work. I spent a lot of hard earned money and waited a few days longer than what was told to me. Really disappointed.

Overall Review: The lesson here for me is "don't buy anything refurbished by Acer". Wont be happening again.
