Very fast and reliable. I've had many issues using non-conventional flash disks for boot devices. I'm using this in my Dell Latitude C610 through an adapter. It has more space than the original 20GB drive, and is faster. I've installed Windows XP, Ubuntu, and finally Lubuntu on it, and haven't hit any errors.
Still seems slow when multitasking, but probably a limitation of my CPU or bus.
Not as good of a price/performance ratio as most 2.5" SSDs, but for PATA there aren't many options. This is better than the PATA SSDs I've seen. It's nice to be able to drag this old laptop around, getting fantastic battery life (enough to watch two feature-length movies), and not worrying about the fragile stock 20GB disk.

1. It crashed in May 2011 once. Lost all my photos. After I reformatted it using a card reader, it worked fine.
2. It crashed again in Mar 2012 during a photo shoot for an important event. All my photos lost instantly. Coming back home, windows keeps asking me to format the card. When I tried, the card is 0.99TB instead of 32GB. No luck at all to retrieve any photos.
Never try Adata product again.
