Rich (purpleish) blue, not that pale blue I'm sooo tired of. Much more air than the turbines and stealth fans but just as quiet. A Great Fan Series (I also got 2 of the black and silver) I recommend them to anyone that has a dremel tool and doesn't need instructions and doesn't think it should all fit perfect right out of the box.
None -- except that 140mm grills are not available yet.
I put this on a full tower as a suction/filter fan in the spot where 4 80mm fans were to go. I did not have to drill as the holes lined up perfectly (GO METRIC SYSTEM) but I used the dremel tool anyway to let more air in than those little holes that the case mfr provided.
The fan puts out a good amount of air and is very quiet for that amount of air. It comes with an adapter so you can attach it to a 120mm fan port, albeit at the price of some interior space. You can also put it on your CPU cooler if you want (again, at the price of space). Replacing it with one of my stock CM690 fans, it dropped CPU and System temps about 3-5 C each. Not bad!
The screws that came with the fan do not fit completely into the sockets. I realized this after I had turned one in halfway and it stuck. I tried to get it out, but the poor material it was made out of stripped and I had to take it to the hardware store to extract the screw. Unfortunately, in doing so, the side of my case was warped due to the amount of pressure required to extract a screw, so now my case has an irreversible bend to it which the fan scrapes against. While this may be partially the fault of a cheaply constructed case, if the fan's screws were not so poorly made, none of this would have happened.
If you are going to get this fan, then you need to go through the extra hassle of finding screws at a hardware store that will actually fit into the d*** thing. Unfortunately, it's hard to find any that will sit flush with a case panel, so you're going to have to live with little nubs sticking out the side of your computer. Annoying and unnecessary, in my opinion, but the fan does output a good amount of air. The blue LED is either good or bad, depending on your tastes. It's very bright.
