Lower cost processor than Athlons on other sockets. DDR2 support. Overclocked to 2.4 GHz with out even thinking and only a few degrees increase in temps. I have been bumping settings up repeatedly and it continues to boot.
It mocks you with 19 degree idle temperatures no matter how high you press it.
I have this chip matched with a Biostar T-force 550, the one with the fan on the north bridge. So far I have had no problems. If you are upgrading from socket A like I was, get this processor it's fast cool and quiet.
DDR2 support, great bang for the buck, 64 bit technology
The CPU didnt work with my mobo..so i figured it was a bad mobo..which it was ..but upon examining the CPU i noticed a corrosion spot where the pins where....NOT COOL. So i have the joy of a RMA
