E6 stepping

This is the E6 stepping of the San Diego.

Differences from E4 that I can tell:

Lower stock voltage, and lower max temp.

1.35v vs 1.40v
65C vs 75c

I think the jury is still out which is better, but I've seen backed up results (Koolance) up to 3.5ghz. An opti will obviously still get you getter. I believe this part is incorrectly labeled as ADA3700CFBOX, it should still be ADA3700BNBOX, but the stepping will end in CF. Per AMD's website.

TOP CRITICAL REVIEW
Good for stock speeds

Runs well at stock speeds. Stays fairly cool, and seems fairly snappy compaired to my old 2400mobile XP.

Purchased this with expectations of at least 2.8GHz,but it needed to many volts to run that high, therefore running to hott. The latest chips steppings are CCBWE,and are late 2005 chips. I was told they are the worst OC'ers for a SanDeigo chip. :(

I wish I would have purchased a Conroe instead of this,I just didn't want to buy new ram. O'well maybe later this year. Thanks Newegg for speedy deleivery. thumbs up.
