Blown Away

Wow, I am totally blown away by the performance of this chip. I cannot seem to find ANYTHING that will slow it down. Run the Sims 2, Photoshop, Disk Defrag and surf the internet at the same time (don't ask) - no problem! Multi-tasking is very important to me and the processor handles multiple intense processes very well. I had high-hopes going into this and it has exceeded all my expectations.

It is an EXCELLENT value too! Good job, AMD - I highly recommend this chip to anyone who wants high-performance.

Nothing, this chip has been fantastic.

TOP CRITICAL REVIEW
First chip badley flawed, 2nd chip was Good

Inexpensive powerful chip, I would use again, but will watch for memory issues related to on-chip memory controller

Bad chip caused a lot of work figuring out what was wrong. Had difficulties getting $credit$ for bad chip from CS.

Symptem was that when any memory was installed in primary slots, the MB would not post, beep or anything.

On phone with ASUS, Chaged every part of the computer from PS to MB, Video, Memory, etc. Finally in desparation, we changed the CPU. That solved the issue.
