These B3 releases of the phenoms are amazing compared to the B2, i was able to get this phenom clocked up to 3.2 ghz on stock voltage and on air! They can also easily hit around 3.4-3.5 ghz on water cooling. my 3dmark06 score is around 4600 with this chip, AWESOME for AMD! Great buy if you have an am2+ board.

by the way these 65nm B3s are clocking... i cant wait for the 45nm's later on this year. good job AMD
Cheaper than Intel, and when people actually compare Ghz -vs- Ghz to intel CPU's. AMD's performance is far superior.
Everything was blazing fast when the processor was running!
AMD still has serious issues with their Quad cores.
It appears from what I have been reading, and I have done a ton over the last few weeks. That there are still "issues" with the Quad Core's Hypertransport.
When under stress - IE: CPU intensive programs.
You will get blue screens, that read "Interrupt not received on a secondary processor in a timely manner"
You will also just lockup without meaningfull error messages to troubleshoot with.
This was evident across 2 mobo's & 2 9850 BE's & 2 Operating Systems (Vista and XP)!!!!
I actually bought a new Motherboard "Asus Crosshair Formula II" in order to combat this problem, and upgraded to a 1000w power supply. Still the instability issues arose.
CPU's were never overclocked!
I actually had to underclock both the quad-cores & hypertransport to get some semblance of stability
Still major issues AMD! When we going to see B4 Stepping! LOL!
Operating Systems tested Vista + XP
BIOS's on both boards were flashed to the latest versions
Underclocking the core's and Hypertransport gave a tiny increase to system stability when under heavy load.
Latest Drivers from AMD for Video and Chipsets.
100% Stable running my old AMD 64 X2 4400+
AMD just needs to learn to shrink the die's faster and ramp up the Ghz, without causing instability!!
I RMA'd two processors to Newegg "I LOVE NEWEGG!!" and they didn't give me any problems when I explained what was happening.
