I've had this for half a year. I have to say, I am very impressed. I add components to my computer every now and again and this PSU has been able to handle it all, both in terms of power and cables.
right now it is powering
-2 dvd drives
-2 hard drives
-3 case fans
-video card
Absolutely no trouble with wiring or power.
none
It's not totally modular. There are some cables that are always there, and there are some extra six pin molex you can add. No big deal, most people will make good use of the cables already there. You can always tie up extra cables.
If this bothers you, your problem is probably with your case not the PSU.
This is an update to a review I posted on 10/9/2010. Good design and the braided cables are nice. The semi-modular design allows you to leave a good number of the cables out if you are not using them. Cables are long enough for all but the biggest of cases. In my Antec 600 where the power supply mounts on the bottom, I was able to route the CPU cable up and out of the way.
The power supply was silent initially but after two months or so it developed an intermittent rattle that was driving me nuts. It sounded like the fan was hitting something inside so I RMA'd it and the new one is running well. Hopefully the new one lasts more than two months and this is the reason I knocked two eggs off.
The RMA process was pretty decent. Antec allowed me to do a two way RMA which involved me ordering a new power supply from their website ($153) and paying for it up-front. I then sent the old power supply back in the same box and they credited my account back. The whole process took 3-4 weeks so I'm glad I did it that way having no down-time on the computer itself rather than wait as that would have been way too long to be without my new computer.
